are embodied not only in this website as I stress the production value of my pedagogical practice but also in the idea of what movies provide: windows into whole new worlds.  Representing movies here is Ralph McQuarrie, the conceptual designer & illustrator famous for his concept artwork for Star Wars.  His sketches and illustrations set the tone for the films as his images portrayed not only the vastness of the universe, but also the detail of everyday life.  His aesthetic brought forth imagined fantasies of far off galaxies while grounded in realistic depictions making the impossible, possible.
